alessandrotakeshi you've been around, kicked it with bad influences, made memories that weigh heavy, seen the world get the better of good hearts but held onto your own. good grief! you get it, lahnah gets it, get together! Favorite track: Sentry.

Ansel__knight Well I hope the Locust Gods have been well fed, the posers laid to waste, and these kids still on top. Using stellar poetry, slaying guitar, and pure DIY magic. High priests of the post apocalyptic late capitalism realm.
Loving the country direction of this album. Plus the Thom + Asher rhythm section is a synergistic treat!!
Fuck yuppies and cops, long live Lahnah!! Favorite track: Rotten Fruit.

Husk 02:42
Drowning in your mother's milk Wishing there were a drought Choking in thousand count silk Claim to prefer the freezing ground Neighbor mows his lawn Catered by wife's lemonade Wrenches Rolling pins Sisters Flowers spread Shell Husk Riches Dust Poor kid, raised in affluence Would you like to trade places? You might enjoy shitting in a trench Or drinking from a dirt hole Drowning in your mother's milk Wishing there were a drought Choking in thousand count silk Claim to prefer the freezing ground

Communicate your hate To the varmint master, every day Until the violent peak Tell the pigs all you know As you weep, Tell them you hate him so Fall into that murky crook Thick with amphibians From your styrofoam ship With your dead branch oars Swallowing clusters of ovum On your way in Lose your massive varmint master In the freezing woods Trace your tracks in their coil When innate forces usher you home Find him enveloped By the wood stove His schemes foiled Communicate your hate To the varmint master, every day Until the violent peak Tell the pigs all you know As you weep, Tell them you hate him so Gallop through the grey bramble Velvet cape in wake Lose your footing in the thrill Of the fantasy chase Strangled by your heroic adornment Panic tears tearing out in arches Carve crude ravings Into the drywall Stage your death To determine their reaction Measure their love Find it near none

I can hear The pink chandelier Shatter on the marble In your skull As you come home To the transient man Sleeping on your step Sleeping on your step How does the fear of feeling feel? Three hundred million people Breathing on your heals Like piss drunk rabid dogs Are we piss drunk rabid dogs to you? Evil, cruel, and austere You'll be alone in your hell We won't serve you there While you upheld our hell For the paltry carnal span We will celebrate your end With tassels, cake, and bells We will celebrate your end I can hear The pink chandelier Shatter on the marble In your skull As you come home To the transient man Sleeping on your step Sleeping on your step Shed yourself Down past your skin Cease to exist To bestow comfort on us all

Sentry 02:00
Open up the sky Debris will rain down Severing lives In satellites we'll drown In the corner In the trees In the mirror In the head In the corner In the trees In the mirror In the head Captured sentry Painted red Facing pavement And the constant threat All the pigs All suited up Will never be strong enough Docile, dumb, and meek We'll meet them in the street Captured sentry Painted red Facing pavement And the constant threat In the corner In the trees In the mirror In the head In the corner In the trees In the mirror In the head In the corner In the trees In the mirror In the head

Rotten Fruit 04:11
Your father, he did drink Blood vessels broken and useless With your thumb in ink Thinking on the business That we birthed Through desperation I hope you find a way To break your place in that blood rusted chain That world does not need you anymore I pray, I pray That you leave that world You, leave that world I witnessed him weighing Outside his new brick house His red face, it was buried His clothes were thoroughly doused And the scent travelled far And the tree, it is decrepit And the fruit begins to spoil All the creatures are all full And the cycle keeps its toil Although I cannot miss you I still think of you often The misadventures that we shared Your father too, once shared I hope you find a way To break your place in that blood rusted chain That world does not need you anymore I pray, I pray That you leave that world You, leave that world

Make a Fist 02:27
Make a fist Make a wish Throw bricks Until it comes true Turn it on its head Till it is strange Shave the top off Till it is the same As it is in a perfect world Fill your pockets with candy Take it all to bed Fill your palms with grander Shove it in your head Devine, cruel, and unrelenting Bearing fruit and wonder Natural evil's overwhelming All the fertile earth is plunder All the fertile earth is plunder Turn it on its head Till it is strange Shave the top off Till it is the same As it is in a perfect world A perfect world

Always tripping in my race Bring me away from that way Send me the angel Of relaxation Introduce the angel Of calm elation I could be splayed By a clear warm lake And only see The bottom and the sparse algae In this head I see death And decay On my brightest day You will be the one to show me That despair doesn't own me I will learn how to dance In the dim starlight If you're willing to help me I could be stupid and happy If you're willing to help me I could be stupid and happy Always tripping in my race Bring me away from that way

I don't think you should Keep dragging that corpse I don't think you should Keep dragging that corpse All that cold dead weight Will bring your knees to the mud Bring them to the mud Bring them to the mud Don't be your own jockey Galloping to your death Gallop to your death Gallop to your death Forget all that has made you this way Crawl away from the place that you want to stay Violently expel all of that built up silt Light fire to the fortresses you have built All the toxic lust Tangles around you legs Inhibiting movent Inhibiting movement You've lassoed yourself And refuse to get out You've lassoed yourself Refuse to get out Cut off your own legs If that's what it takes Cut off your own legs If that's what it takes Do what you feel will Kill your apathy Kill your apathy Kill your apathy Forget all that has made you this way Crawl away from the place that you want to stay Violently expel all of that built up silt Light fire to the fortresses you have built

Feel so drunk Haven't touched a drink in months The city people and their hardness Is unending All the sirens and all the cameras Get to me Bleeding through my clothes Standing on my toes Display my size For all the sizing eyes They want to try me As unstable and scrawny as I am I know they can Kill me with hands I will lay down A nest of threat Feel so drunk Haven't touched a drink in months The city people and their hardness Is unending All the sirens and all the cameras Get to me

about

Recorded from June 2020 through October 2020 in Portland, ME at Sun Tiki Studios and our apartment.

Songs about hearing yuppies yap, a memoir of a swamp behind Thom and Asa's childhood home, passing a homeless person sleeping on the step of a luxury airbnb, cops and surveillance and all the evil they secure, Asher's momentary lawn-mowing kick in hyperbole, a dream, morbid obsession, old friends entering that familial self destructive cycle, hugging a dream so tight that you both die, Asher being Thom's best friend and hero, apathy and indulgence in self pity, feeling scared as fuck around men, and parents on drugs.

Endless thanks to Ian, Kevin, Joey, Dirk, Ben, Alexis, Mackenzie, Echo, Lu, Lucy, Frank, Tabitha, Toma, Nevin, Christian, Arthur, Aidan, Simon, Linnea, Jonas, our families and everyone who's ever encouraged our music. Also endless thanks to all the brave folks standing up for each other and putting love first.
